How can I find my niche?

When someone tells you to “find your niche,” they mean you should find the very specific activity or position that sets you apart and in which you can find success or fulfillment. We at the Chattooga Chamber are usually talking about business when we say "find your niche", and WE CAN HELP.

What is your passion? Can it be turned into a successful business?

If you're exploring the possibility of starting a business, please, start with the Chamber. We are a valuable resource for you, and you don't have to join to take advantage of many of our resources. We do more for members*, but we want to help EVERY business in Chattooga County be the best they can be.

We want to be in your business because we want your business GROW.

We can CONNECT you to other resources to help you develop a business plan, financial projections, marketing materials, and locating a launchpad.

The old saying is true...

"Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

This is a good start, but it's not ALL there is to starting a business.

Things to consider---

  • Is my passion / business model feasible? Is it easy to start up? Does it meet the criteria: What, when, where, who, how, and WHY We can get you data and help with a feasibility study.

  • Is my passion / business model marketable? Does the community want it? We can guide you through this process.

  • Is my passion / business model sustainable? Can my target audience continually support it? We can help you target the most relevant audience, plan for future adjustments you may need to make, and LEARN how to succeed.

Finding your niche, narrowing your focus on a specific product or service or to a targeted audience, will set you apart from the pack and help you succeed.
